Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions shall be applicable to your (Participant’s) use of this website, in addition to the Terms and Conditions available here and Privacy Policy available here.

1. Eligibility and Access

• The leaderboard is exclusively accessible to participants selected for the Wakefit Sleep Internship Season 4.
• Access to the leaderboard is restricted to verified participants. Only those listed by the marketing team will be able to log in.

2. Data Usage and Privacy

• By logging into the leaderboard, participants consent to the collection, processing, and display of their sleep scores gathered from the Track8 device.
• Wakefit shall ensure that the participants’ sleep data is used solely for the purpose of the Sleep Internship leaderboard and related competition.
• Participants agree and expressly consent to have their sleep scores, rankings, and other related data displayed publicly on the leaderboard.
• Personal details (such as name and score) will be displayed, but sensitive personal data and other Personally Identifiable Information will remain confidential and will not be shared without explicit consent.

3. Sleep Score and Ranking

• Sleep scores are automatically synced from the Track8 device once per day. If scores are missing or incomplete, a secondary sync will occur to ensure accuracy.
• The leaderboard ranks participants based on their average sleep scores. In case of a tie, participants will be ranked alphabetically by name. If there is still a tie, rankings will be assigned randomly.
• Scores are aggregated and displayed in daily, weekly, and monthly views. Incomplete data will prevent access to specific timeframes, such as weekly or monthly views, until enough data is available.

4. Participation and Conduct

• Participants are expected to maintain honest and fair engagement in the competition.
• Any attempt to manipulate or falsify sleep data, including the use of external devices or methods to artificially alter sleep scores, will result in immediate disqualification.
• Wakefit reserves the right to remove any participant from the leaderboard if there is suspicion of violation of these rules.

5. Sync Timing and Score Calculation

• Sleep scores are synced daily at noon. A secondary sync occurs at 4 PM if any data is missing for a participant.
• The scores displayed for each day will reflect the sleep data for the previous day, not the day of synchronization. For example, if sync happens on 2nd October, the scores will be reported for 1st October.

6. Leaderboard Functionality

• The leaderboard shows participants’ overall average sleep score and rank based on this score.
• Filters are provided to allow participants to view scores for different periods: day, week, and month. Specific filtering options may be disabled if there is insufficient data.
• Wakefit reserves the right to adjust or remove any leaderboard features or scores due to technical issues or unforeseen circumstances.

7. Prizes and Winners

• At the end of the competition period, the participant with the highest average sleep score will be crowned the Sleep Champion and may receive a prize, as specified in the competition rules.
• Winners will be notified via the contact details provided during the competition.

8. Liability

• Wakefit will not be responsible for any technical issues, delays, or errors that may affect the leaderboard or participants’ sleep data.
• Participants acknowledge that Wakefit is not liable for any health issues, injuries, or consequences that may arise from the use of the Track8 device or participation in the Sleep Internship.

9. Amendments and Termination

• Wakefit reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the Sleep Internship leaderboard or any associated features at any time.
• Participants will be notified of any changes to the Terms & Conditions via the leaderboard page or email.

10. Consent and Agreement

• By accessing the leaderboard, participants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
• Participants hereby  provide their explicit consent for their sleep data to be used as outlined in these T&Cs before they can engage with the leaderboard.
