He joins the Sleep Internship with the hope that he can bring some discipline into his sleep schedule. He fancies himself as a biker and a foodie, who loves trying and exploring new cuisines.

Annapurna hails from the City of Nawabs, Lucknow. She comes with a medical background and is currently pursuing her Post Graduation in Public Health. She believes in the power of sleep and its ability to be able to solve just about any problem. When she's buried in her book about Public Health, you'll find her busy sleeping and indulging her dreams. She also has a creative side to her and enjoys writing poems and creating art. We have high hopes of learning the art of sleep from her.

Colonel Ranjit Singh (Retd)

Colonel Ranjit Singh (retired) is a Bachelors in Commerce, Master in Psychology and MSc in Weapon Technology. Phew! He introduces himseld as an adventurous nomad, father of two bright working women, supported by a pretty, loving and caring wife, son of Sardar and a sleep enthusiast. He takes pleasure in reading, adventure, physical fitness and enjoy life to the brim. Our very first sleep Intern from the defense forces, we welcome Colonel to Batch of 2021.

Thane, India

27 year old Dhruti loves to sleep and can pretty much sleep anywhere. She is a unique traveller that is part of a biking group called Nomadic Parikrama. She has toured most of India on a bike and to us, that's pretty impressive. She is a graphic designer by profession. She loves expressing her personality through various hairstyles and hair colours and is a really fun person, who we can't wait to get to know during her time at the Internship.

A physiotherapist by education, Dr. Shradha works with a healthcare multinational as a Product Manager. She needs her sleep to an almost maniacal level and is a passionate sleep awareness activitst. Sleep constitutes a vital part of her life and she never backs down from the challenge of stressing the importance of sleep to those around her. A Sleep Champion in the truest sense of the word, we gladly welcome her to the Batch of 2021.

Durga Laxmi has just completed her Masters in History and built a strong legacy of sleeping in class. Her love for potatoes runs as deep as her love for sleep and she firmly believes that sleep is basically a time machine that brings sround breakfast sooner. She constantly romantisizes about sleep and potatoes (every form from fries to potato chips) and is known to be an audacious trailblazer. Well, we hope she blazes trails in the sleep intern world too.

Kushagra comes from Bilaspur, Uttar Pradesh. He has just completed his BA and is a very talented singer and rapper. He is currently studying music from Gandharva Mahavidya. He can spontaneously break into bhangra and loves sleep so much that he has spent many hours composing raps and poems about sleeping. We're hoping to have him churn out some stellar lullabys for the rest of the sleep interns during his Sleep Internship.

Sudakshina is an Artist based in Chennai. She graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2018 and has been working as a CG artist ever since. Her bold use of color and quirky style is what sets her apart. She now works as a freelance illustrator, designer and part-time Art Tutor. She can be identified as a curious curator in a messy bun, indulging in anything with extra cheese and soya sauce. She is currently trying to start a small venture and dreams of becoming an creative entrepreneur one day.

Surbhi inhales music and exhales in kapalbhati and thats the reason she sleeps extremely well. According to her, those are the basic human needs and her survival relies on it. Apart from that, she has a small space where she farms and grows strawberries. We're hoping to learn a thing or two from her approach to healthy living.

Vilas is a hale and hearty 60 year old who joins the Batch of Sleep Interns 2021 with all the enthusiasm of the youngest contestant. He has been known as Kumbhkaran's Chota Bhai since childhood and learnt from experience that a night of good sleep makes for a perfect work day. He lives with his family of two children, a charming wife and a pet and has a zest for life that few can compete with. He loves walking outdoors, trekking, sleeping (of course) and is a foodie.

32 year old Yogesh hails from the dreamy landscape of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is an artist and a theatre instructor who loves making funny and inspiring videos. He used to teach at the National School of Drama in Delhi and dreams of opening a drama school for children in Dehradun. He plays the keyboard and has acted in several short films. We're pretty sure he is going to have no trouble cosying up for 9 hours of sleep in Dehradun.
